RGT Water Activated Tape is a reinforced gummed tape. The backing of this reinforced tape consists of two layers of kraft paper with a cross-pattern of strong fiberglass filaments laminated between. Water activated tape is used for closing and sealing boxes. Before closing corrugated boxes, the tape is wetted or remoistened. Activated by water, the backing becomes sticky when moistened. Water activated kraft tape will bond to corrugated even in dusty or dirty conditions and improves packaging security by making boxes stronger. Reinforced tape seals boxes with one piece of tape and is not affected by extreme hot or cold temperatures.
